playing catch up… parents visit

Parents visit was fun. Went to Griffith Observatory (newly renovated). It was super cool! I’ll post photos to the gallery very soon. The planetarium show was like no other planetarium show I’ve ever seen. We got to see solar flares on the sun through one telescope and the moon through the other.. timed it perfectly at sunset

We also went to Pasadena shopping, some terrible home decorating show at the LA convention center- DON’T GO! It was like 3 aisles only in one hall with people trying to sell you stuff… that’s about it. Otherwise the visit was a lot of fun. We went to the 30th anniversary screening of Star Wars at the Academy, very cool. Mark Hamil and Carrie Fisher were surprise panelists along with George Lucas and about a dozen other set/props/art directors etc. It went kinda late so we had to sneak out early, but it was still fun.
