I want to change my living room

In thinking about new sofas… ours are mishapen and pretty beat up now…. I got to thinking… I wish my living room was more eclectic style than modern traditional… I’m going to gradually work toward something like this:
Does Josh have a say in this?
yeap, that’s why we haven’t done anything yet… we need to agree on a sofa or sectional first.
you should come see my apt. all my stuff was free or found. but over the years i’ve gotten new end tables/coffee table - from target, and a new kitchen table…target..but the couch is ancient and after the fabric wore through, i had to re-upholster the couch. my tv stand is from the 70’s or something. my lamps don’t match, and my dvd case tracey says is like the book case you guys had in your closet.
If our couches were save-able with reupholstery I’d do that… but they’re so mishapen… i don’t know if that’s fixable. We need a couch that is more structured! I ordered curtains similar to ones in the picture though
