Flash Forward Instructional Winner
Since I’m so into Flash and instructional flash in particular.. this year’s entry in the Austin Flash Forward for instructional flash category really impressed me!
Great American Eat Right Challenge
I think it’s the subject matter as well though. I do some of the fitness tips like taking the stairs at work and in the parking structure. I never take an elevator unless I’m walking with a group to a meeting which is rare.
The recipes in the food section are pretty good ideas too.. they really get you thinking. Maybe I can make the delicious treats I make healthier

light + magnet = LED throwies!
saw these on instructables- LED Throwies. they look way cool. and i might just be nerdy enough to make em! anyone wanna join me? i gotta find a cool metal place and a message though first. then i realized they were used in philly to advertise aqua teen hunger force on blank billboards!

I found this great site, and thought I’d be nice and share:

Redesign.. v8.0
Wow only 8 versions since 2001.. I feel like I’m slacking, though I may have lost count.
What do you think of the new design?
Abe Lincoln’s Powerpoint!
I never saw this until today:
Lincoln’s Powerpoint
I guess it’s old.. and i’m behind on my inet legends
flash forward 2006
flash forward 2006 is in austin, texas this year. i really want to go, especially because i’ve never been to texas and josh and i have considered austin as a place to move one day. but there’s several things stopping me.
- first it’s sept 11-14 and I leave for london on sept 14th.
- second it’s $600-1000 just for registration before airfare and hotel
- third im having a job crisis right now where im (hopefully) in between jobs
- and (four) running out of vacation time fast!
The Jealous Toaster Moved to new software
There’s no way to really move all of my old posts over to this system.. because the old system was so old (greymatter), but I do have them all saved in a very very long msword file. This is now a nice pretty database (nucleus CMS) that will hopefully be supported for a long time.
